The Log Blog V 2.0

Further words of wisdom from ChrisFit's food-logging poster girl:

So the Mr. Buffalo show has come and gone, which means that bad idea food log/show has been completed - 16 weeks of 110% commitment from trainer and trainee.

For those who have asked ....

Was it easy? Some days.

Was it a lot of cardio? For me 6 days a week workouts, same as before. I did up the time and intensity, Steve trumped that by doing twice a day workouts.
Was there swearing? Every day!!!!!
Blood was shed, tears were cried (well on my part at least) but not a drop of alcohol was consumed, not a cheat meal was had not during the cruise, not on birthdays, not on friends' birthdays, not on bad bad bad days - we stuck to it and the results speak volumes.

Steve took 1st place in his weight class at Mr. Buffalo.

My weight is down 20+ pounds and I dropped two pants sizes since December 20, 2011.

As my trainer said to me the day after the show - WIN, WIN !

Yet more then the winning, I noticed along the way of clean eating, food logging and hard training something else happened: the self discipline (with a lot of help from my Chrisfit family) made me look not only at the physical changes that were happening, but mentally I refocused on myself and my goals. I reached another milestone 85 pounds during the sixteen weeks, and so now with only 14 pounds left to my final goal....I wonder does anyone else have any bad ideas ??

Trainer Commentary:
I could not be more proud of my client's hard work, dedication, and success these past few months. This is a testament to the real value of willpower and determination. This is proof that all of us can achieve success in our fitness endeavors, no matter what life may throw our way. My part was comparatively easy. Training and nutrition are my life for the most part, and I have few real obligations outside of our gym. But Client X above doesn't have that luxury. She has family and work obligations, and enough stress to kill a horse, but she managed to lose more weight than I did in the same amount of time. Now THAT is impressive. Not only that, she managed to keep my head from exploding during some stressful moments, which is no small feat!
Congratulations, I look forward to the next bad idea, and the big 100 milestone!
-Steve
